How billing works

Prepaid, per TB, from your wallet. Storage is sold in 1 TB blocks at €7.99 per block per month. When you start using a new terabyte, the full block is charged from your wallet immediately. All blocks renew together on the 1st of each month. Egress beyond your free tier works the same way: €3 per TB block.

If your wallet can't cover the next block, that operation fails with a clear error. Everything else keeps working. Top up and retry. You cannot get a surprise bill on buckets.ninja.

Why is Class C priced higher? LIST and COPY hit the metadata layer far harder than a simple GET or PUT — a single list on a bucket with 50 million objects costs orders of magnitude more to serve than a 10 MB download. Free tiers reset on the 1st of each month.
